Our Story

I started writing songs and short stories when I was in high school. The dream was simple back then, born out of a love for storytelling and melody.

After my first release, reality set in—I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't going to be a recording star. But the passion for music didn't leave. Instead of pursuing the spotlight for myself, I decided to invest my time and resources into talented people who could become successful recording artists.

Thus, Camellia Records was born.

Named after the beautiful, resilient flower of the South, this label is a proudly independent endeavor based right here in Alabama. We don't have corporate backing, and we don't chase fleeting trends. We focus on good songs and the undiscovered artists who bring them to life.

The site you're looking at holds "The Camellia Collection". It's a modest catalog, spanning rock and roll to country, easy listening to comedy. Every track is available for $1.49, and you only buy the ones you want. No album filler.

As for me, I still write songs. I still write short stories. And I still believe in the power of a great track waiting to be heard.
